Enter Fort Gregor
The Imperium's long-term goal is to take back the colony planet. The Suhbekhar Necron have completely taken over.
The dimensional doorway is still open, as more Necron are clearly still marching across the landscape. Light Necron armour has also been reported on the planet, giving us reason to believe that either a second, larger doorway has been opened in the bastion's armoury, or the first has been growing, and the bastion's wall has been reformatted to allow the large vehicles passage through it.
It seems as though the whole thing is a light operation in the Necron's eyes. They aren't arriving in full unified force--rather, in small waves--and certainly we don't see evidence of a megalith.
There is still an Imperial presence on the planet, although the forces are scattered and disjointed. The individual forces have been cut off from one another by the overwhelming Necron advance.
The bastion (identified as previously having been Fort Gregor) hasn't been seen in over a year. Orbital scans detect a much larger structure or structures in its place. It's theorized the Suhbekhar Necron are establishing a satellite tomb world of sorts, particularly since the Na'Doro have taken or destroyed much of their territory so far as we're aware.
The planet's climate is rather temperate. It has a variety of environments, and it's in general suitable for life: Ice caps on the two extreme poles of the planet, a warmer equator, and various climates in between. Fort Gregor is planted right in the middle of what used to be a wide, expansive plains, before the shelling and fighting reduced it to a dusty wasteland. High natural winds in the area are constantly creating massive dust storms, obscuring visibility for days at a time.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Although the nature of the Necron aggression pulls them into the Imperial spotlight, their presence in the Jericho Reach is and must remain mostly a secret. The goals of the Achilus Crusade must persevere, and even now struggles against the Tyranid, Eldar, Tau, Ork, and Chaos. The Necron are the responsibility of the vigilants of the Dead Cabal, who fight against the silent enemies and dark whispered secrets of the Outer Reach. While the kill-team does not perform their missions in the Outer Reach while under the service of Lord Michael, you still need to maintain a certain level of discretion when interacting with those outside of the Dead Cabal; yes, even others of the Deathwatch and Inquisition. The Dead Cabal is by no means a popular organization. Where the Inquisition to the outsider is a shrouded organization of secret- and rumor-chasing, the Dead Cabal is that even to the Inquisition. Many of those not of the Cabal (although the number of individuals who know of the Dead Cabal and are not of it is a very small number) view it even with active aggression, seeing it as a waste of time and resources chasing lies and secrets of ancient mysteries and puzzles that can not be discovered or solved.
That all being said, here is the nature of your mission:
We have determined that there is a chance that there are two doorways opened within Fort Gregor. As we have not had clear visuals on the bastion in over a year, we're not sure if all the Necron are coming out of the main body of the bastion as before, or if the vehicles are in fact coming out of the armoury. If the latter is true, then it's highly likely there's a second doorway. Now, all this is based on the notion that Fort Gregor maintains much of its previously known structure design, which we also have reason to believe is not the case. Thus, your first primary objective is to determine if there really is one, two or fifty dimensional doorways, by locating them all.
Once you've located all the doorways, they then need to be shut-down or destroyed simultaneously. This is to prevent any sort of retaliation from the Necron and obliterating the unlucky fools who witness a whole royal court stride at them because their fellow squad-mates dropped the doorway too early. Remember, the Necron won't act too kindly to your presence. The moment your intentions and direction become evident to the Necron leaders, they will make every effort to cut you down (naturally). Likewise, any and all Necron on the other side of that doorway will respond with the same fervor.
The kill-team will be operating in two separate groups this mission, as Alpha and Beta. However, the success or failure of the kill-team will still be determined as a whole, as you shall all collectively share the same objectives.
Objectives:
Primary:
--Locate all dimensional doorways (suspected to be two)
--Simultaneously destroy or otherwise permanently shut-down all of them
Secondary:
----Inhibit Necron leadership you come across.

I request the assistance of the Adeptus Mechanicus to ensure compliance of this world. A Warhound Titan would enforce the Emperor's wrath upon these foes.

Warhound Titans are in relatively short supply unfortunately, and to redirect its service to this mere colony planet would be an unwise allocation of resources. No, you shall make do without.

Re: Enter Fort Gregor
When we next convene, all kill-team members will participate in end-mission tests to see how successful the extraction from the planet will be, as well as any efforts against the Necron you may have attempted in the 4 days of waiting for your extraction.

After a successful extraction and completion of a few minor objectives, the team earned an additional 100 + (1d10 x 10) xp.
