O'Magnus 1
Reports have been coming in of a growing rebellion on the Hive World known as O'Magnus 1. An Imperial strike force consisting of the O’Magnus 27th Planetary Defense Force made up the initial retaliation. The defense, however, was neither swift nor sure enough, and the rebellion spread quickly from its initial hive, Tristus, to its parent hives, Bi’Magnus and the capitol Pri’Magnus. As the conflict escalated, command over the fighting was delegated up the ranks until Lord Governor, and acting Lord General, Sandro Michael himself assumed direct control. Under Lord Michael’s direction, an astropathic choir was organized and the aid of the Adeptus Astartes was called upon. The call was answered by acting Captain Vincent Lester of the Novamarines 4th Company. The Novamarines’ presence and tactical expertise greatly bolstered the efforts of the loyalist forces, allowing them to all but sweep the rebels from Bi’ and Pri’Magnus, and take back significant ground within Tristus. A mere two weeks had then passed, however, when Pri’Magnus suffered from extreme tectonic upheaval and ultimately total blackout. Dust and debris completely prohibited any form of orbital vision of the hive’s condition, and long-range vox communication was impossible without hard-lining into the few remaining vox masts. The scattered vox-connections from within Pri’Magnus reported subterranean assaults and iron-clad beasts that could shear through men with ease. Bi’Magnus has since been established as the planet’s capital. However, as much of the planet’s leadership was in Pri’Magnus, the Imperial forces are currently scattered and in disarray. Meanwhile, the majority of the Novamarines forces, including Captain Lester, are still pressed forward heavily into Tristus, attempting to remove the head of the rebellion.
Primary objectives:
Secondary objectives:
Targets of Opportunity:
Requisition: 77 per kill-team member.
Hive descriptions:
Primary objectives:
- Assess situation in Bi’Magnus, and place a well-suited leader in acting command over Imperial Forces in Bi’Magnus.
- Extract Lord Michael from Pri’Magnus.
Secondary objectives:
- Find Captain Lester and his men in Tristus.
Targets of Opportunity:
- Rebel forces
- Necron forces
Requisition: 77 per kill-team member.
Hive descriptions:
- Pri’Magnus was the military center. All the conscripting administration happened in Pri’Magnus, as well as most all of the military leadership and organization. Lord Michael was performing his military leadership here. When Pri’Magnus fell, so too did the organization of the O’Magnus PDF.
- Bi’Magnus is the administrative and governing center. While acting as Lord Governor, Lord Sandro Michael performed his duties here. When the rebellion turned full-scale, Lord Michael forcibly removed the Lord General (Andrew Nobis) from his post and took command, leaving Bi’Magnus in the hands of acting Lord Governor Rynn Turrin.
- Tristus was mostly the conscription center. It was a denser hive, with a larger population than either Pri'Magnus or Bi'Magnus. The central purposes for the rebellion are yet unknown, however, it can be safely assumed the heavy conscription tax laid on its population stoked whatever heretical fire burned deep in the shadows of Tristus.

Mission Results
The kill-team storms swiftly down the short corridor off the lift. You walk without a second thought past the space that not moments earlier had held the enormous mass of a Canoptek Spyder. At the end of the hall stands a stark, sturdy metal door, fastened shut securely by a lattice of heavy lock-pins. PyWright's thunder-hammer acts well as a make-shift key. The door blasts off its hinges, and into the next room steps the kill-team.
The office you stand in now has an air of authority. Desks line one side of the medium-sized room, and a separate, larger desk stands by itself opposite the others. A giant seal--the Imperial Aquila--is emblazoned ornately on the floor. Standing across from you, however, surrounded by armed and poised Immortals, stands a Necron Cryptek. It bears the heraldry of the blue and green Necron--the same heraldry the kill-team faced on the forge world Occrion. In its right hand is a menacing staff radiating with a powerful aura; The left, an onyx-black, crystalline box, no bigger than a loaf of bread. Above its head rests a purple skull, a floating sigil seemingly inscribed on the air itself.
PyWright makes the first move, diving swiftly in front of the heavily wounded Volpin. Before anyone else even begins to take a step or pull a trigger, however, a wretched scream of a gunshot resonates through the air. The Cryptek's head is caught by an unseen blast, and you see its disintegrating face peel away through multiple dimensions. This blur of action happens in a heart-beat, then the Necron all phase out of existence in a single green flash of light. The crystalline box clatters to the floor.
The team, left alone in the room, begins to search. Overhead of the Imperial Palace, the strangled howls of xenos aircraft shriek overhead. Galmech and PyWright using the tools at one of the desks, immediately open a vox-connection to Captain Lester in Bi'Magnus. He promptly warns the two of them of large amounts of activity showing up in Pri'Magnus, and coordiniates your immediate evac via a Valkyrie fleet. Volpin finds the dead bodies of the cabinet of Lord Michael, but not the Lord General himself. Vulgate sends off a telepathic message to the immediate area in search of him, but to no apparent avail. Dyrus, divining for the Lord's location, is pin-pointed directly towards the black box. The kill-team grabs the box, breaks open a view-port in the office, and awaits extraction.
The Valkyrie fleet takes heavy casualties during transit from Necron Scythes, but the kill-team extracts successfully to the heavily-fortified Bi'Magnus. As the kill-team flies out of Pri'Magnus, you see a large column of advancing Necron armour floating into the city from the North. The xenos vehicles, bearing the colours purple and white, lay waste to everything in their path.
As you fly, looking far North you see, high up in the atmosphere, the underside of a gigantic Megalith. From its bottom you see the specks of more xenos artillery descending onto what appears to be an active battlefield. Arcs of green light fire up, intercepting the descending army, while massive purple beams of destruction rain back down in answer, annihilating all opposition.
The Valkyrie banks, and you lose sight of the cataclysmic battle.
After a short day's wait, the Fate's Spite returns to extract the kill-team, and you leave the planet surface. As you enter high-orbit, you are able to once again see the Megalith, briefly, before you rocket out into open space and open the warp-channel back to Watch Station Erioch.

Intel from O'Magnus
Information from the Inquisition has been passed on to Alpha Team at Watch Station Erioch regarding the aftermath of the massive Necron assault on O'Magnus.
The purple and white Necron, heretofore mentioned as the Na'Doro Dynasty, and the blue and green Necron, likewise the Subhakar Dynasty, appear in all ways to be at war. The Subhakar were still only awakening yet beneath Pri'Magnus, the planet capitol and military center, when the Na'Doro Dynasty descended onto the planet and began a full siege on Pri'Magnus.
After the kill-team made its quick extraction off O'Magnus, the Subhakar made a quick and heavy attack against Bi'Magnus, which ultimately failed due to a variety of reasons:
These all combined led to the overall victory of Bi'Magnus over the attacking Subhakar dynasty, at which point the remaining forces on that front retreated to Pri'Magnus. But what of the Na'Doro?
The Na'Doro Dynasty pressed its front line forward swiftly and fiercely in a sweeping wave of annihilation. After the Subhakar retreated completely back into Pri'Magnus, the Na'Doro pressed forward definitively, cleaning through the entirety of the capitol. After approximately 2 or 3 days of no movement from Pri'Magnus (ordo xenos theorists are assuming the Na'Doro were descending deep into the Subhakar tomb world and expunging the leadership), the Megalith ascended back into high orbit and vanished through a rippling rift in reality. This was a great surprise to the bunkered men and space marines in Bi'Magnus, who had spent the entire time anxiously preparing themselves for a merciless siege.
O'Magnus was left with no sign of the Necron ever being there, save the ragged tectonic scars and massive devastation wrought by their weapons of war.
But in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium, any number of fiendish xenos and corrupt heretics could leave the same degree of devastation on the planet's surface. Not much was left vastly different apart from the rest of the Imperium.
May the Emperor protect, and have mercy on the trillions dead.

After the kill-team made its quick extraction off O'Magnus, the Subhakar made a quick and heavy attack against Bi'Magnus, which ultimately failed due to a variety of reasons:
- Firstly, fighting on two fronts seemed to weaken the blow they could have dealt against the last true bastion of defense on the planet.
- The reinforcements of the Fire Lords space marine chapter, Imperial Navy, and donated Imperial military leaders (to relieve Captain Lester of leadership responsibilities) also played a very important part in manning the bastions.
- Lastly, and--for as far as the natives of O'Magnus are concerned--most importantly, the defenses, organization, and inspired morale PyWright had set in place in the city greatly increased its strength against the invaders.
These all combined led to the overall victory of Bi'Magnus over the attacking Subhakar dynasty, at which point the remaining forces on that front retreated to Pri'Magnus. But what of the Na'Doro?
